If I treated my husband disrespectfully, theasdgamer, I’d be very very sorry. He wouldnt’ tolerate that sort of thing, nor do I. We actually respect each other a great great deal. I can’t imagine telling him that if he didn’t like the way I treated him (if I were treating him like crap) he can just go find someone else. Nor would he ever do that to me. That doesn’t mean we walk on eggshells with each other, and that doesn’t make him a supplicant by any means.

I’ve seen enough of your posts to know that you do have a lot of respect for your wife, theasdgamer.

I can’t imagine living with, raising kids with, sharing a bank account and personal secrets with a person you can’t respect. Heck, I can’t imagine even being in a room with one for more than a couple of hours let alone sharing a life together full of regular life hardships and joys.
